Mother’s Day at Whitbread Inns

Mother’s Day is a great reminder to cherish and celebrate the relationship you have with your Mum. It’s going to look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean that Mum has to feel any less loved.

Many of the ideas that would usually be Mother’s Day staples like spa days and lunch at her favourite restaurant, aren’t possible this year - so it’s time to get creative to make the day even more meaningful.

Breakfast in Bed

After the year we’ve had, Mum deserves a rest. Deliver her favourite breakfast treats to her in bed, and let her have a lie in! Pastries are a delicious no-cook option for little ones to serve. Not able to see your Mum this year? Order her a delivery from a local bakery or cafe to enjoy instead!

The Perfect Gin & Tonic

If your Mum is a gin lover, mix her up the perfect G&T to enjoy this Mother’s Day. There are so many options to make her a special drink that’s just to her taste - why not try adding sliced strawberries to pink gin?

A Sentimental Scrapbook

Share some memories with Mum this Mother’s Day by putting together a scrapbook with favourite photos and family keepsakes together so she can look at it every time she needs to feel loved. Make it extra special with notes about why you love and appreciate her!
